The Aikido Interaction Model - Webinar

22.09.2025-26.01.2026

  • The Aikido Interaction Model - Webinar

| Description

You learn to communicate according to an interaction model that provides support when interaction contains barriers, differences, challenges, or escalation. This interaction model has been researched and inspired by a Japanese martial art: aikido.

| Target Group

For everyone.

| Approach

The training introduces the fundamentals of the aikido interaction model, both theoretically and psychophysically using simple aikido movements you execute in front of the computer screen. We then apply the model to external case studies and real-life situations brought in by the participants. There is much interaction and variation. We will not be watching a slideshow on the little screen the whole time: we will be switching between sitting, standing, talking, writing, laughing, learning, and remembering.

| Contents

You will learn communication principles and skills to achieve noble outcomes clearly, constructively, and courageously.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the aikido interaction model.
  • Self-regulation for physical, emotional, and mental calm.
  • Co-regulation for connection through softness, purpose, and empathy.
  • Noble motivation for constructive and appropriate outcomes.

Applications can include verbal, non-verbal, written, formal, and informal communication.

In short, you will learn to communicate with an interaction model incorporating self-regulation, co-regulation, and noble outcomes. Each participant will take home a personal action plan.
